Tony Zear is a 28-year-old who has inherited a remarkable physical deformity. Like the rest of his family, he has gigantic ears and suffers from sensitivity to the slightest noise. Frustrated by constant rejection from the opposite sex, he agrees to make contact with a Canadian girl his father has found for him and learns to accept himself and celebrate his difference.
