From May 2011 groups will be able to visit CinemaMagic our brand new interactive, learning show. This live permanent feature will demonstrate some of the cinema effects and optical illusions that have been used in filmmaking for decades.

Devised exclusively for the Museum by multi-media performance company Forkbeard Fantasy and led by a Museum Explainer, this entertaining exploration will aim to demystify the science behind some technical illusions such as pixilation, the glass shot and the travelling matte.
