Our SEN activities aim to encourage communication, develop creativity and confidence, and enhance cognitive and social skills.

Our programme is flexible, enabling you to choose one session or a combination, which can be tailored to your particular needs and run as part of a course.

  • Museum Tour
    A multi-sensory introduction to the Museum galleries. 
  • Visual Scrapbook
    Use robust digital cameras to take photographs, upload and print them out for a visual scrapbook. 
  • Experience TV
    Discover what it's like to work in television, and watch a programme from our TV Heaven Collection. 
  • Splat Animation
    Use simple model-making techniques to create a character, with the option of making a short animated film. 
  • Digital Diary
    Create a DVD showing the highlights of your visit to the Museum using a simple mini DV camera. 
  • Building Stories: The Mystery of the Cottingley Fairies
    Discover how two little girls baffled the world with their fairy photographs in this interactive story-telling session. 
  • Trick Photography
    Create your own imaginative trick fairy photograph to fool your friends and family. 
  • My Memories
    A multi sensory reminiscence session which encourages individuals to recall and share their memories.
