The Concert is the rousing story of Andreï Filipova, the maëstro conductor at the famous Bolshoï Theatre in Moscow. Thirty years ago Filipova was demoted to janitor by the Communist authorities in cruel retaliation for the opportunities he gave to Jewish musicians. His career ruined, Filipova one day intercepts an invitation to reunite his now ageing orchestra for a performance in Paris... A film to reaffirm your belief in the power of music.
