When traffic officer Albert intervenes between a jeweller and Else, accused of stealing a diamond, he doggedly pursues prosecution even when the smitten jeweller attempts to drop charges. Betty Amann plays vamp Else, for whose charms all seem to fall, meanwhile the vast sets built by Germany's UFA Studios are extraordinary.
