We're starting to develop a range of RSS feeds to help you keep in touch with what's new on the site and in our museum.
What are RSS feeds?
RSS is a way of keeping track of new website content, without having to actually visit the website itself. Often RSS is used for headlines and other news content, but sites often use it for whatever changing content they have.
How do I subscribe?
When you click on a feed link you get taken to a web page with a number of options for subscribing. Alternatively, right click and save the link and then paste this into your feed reader of choice.
What feeds do you have?
Over the coming months we'll be publishing more feeds, but right now the following are available:
Film Times [subscribe]
IMAX Times [subscribe]
Don't forget, if you're keen on keeping in touch, you can join one of our e-newsletters for information.
What do I need to use RSS?
To read RSS you'll need something called a "Feed Reader" - a bit of software which lets you "subscribe" to a particular feed so that you can track when it changes. Feed readers can be downloaded as a program on your computer, but increasingly it is getting more usual to read feeds using browser based readers. Many of these are free. Here are a few which we've found - but just try searching for "feed reader" in your favourite search engine and you'll probably find loads more.
