This is one of my class photographs from my primary school. I was in Form 2a, so the photograph must have been taken in 1932. I went to the Nursery at Lilycroft School first, where we all had to have a sleep in the afternoon, then I went to Drummond Road Infants School and stayed there until I was seven. After that I went back to Lilycroft and stayed there until I was 11. This photograph was taken at Lilycroft. When I left Lilycroft I went to Belle Vue Grammar School and stayed there until the war broke out. |
