Gold Celebration

IMAX DMR (feature length film) £15.55 per child
Standard IMAX (45min film) £14 per child
Adults pay cinema admission fee
Minimum group size of 10 children

Begin your day with a workshop of your choice:

  • Animation: Discover the art of animation by using Lego or clay to learn how animation works before brining your characters to life and creating your own mini animated movie.
  • Film: be the star of your own TV advert or movie trailer in this exciting active workshop and see yourself on screen.

All movies will be available on Flickr and the birthday child or organiser will receive a DVD copy.

For lunch, children will receive their own celebrate lunch box with the following**:

  • Half cheese sandwich
  • Ready salted crisps
  • Apple Fruit Shoot juice
  • Chocolate bar
  • Packet of fruit flakes

After lunch, sit back, relax and watch an IMAX film of your choice.

Silver Celebration

£8.95 per child
Adults go free
This package is available to groups for up to 9 children at a flat rate of £80.55 and £8.95 per child thereafter.

  • Film: be the star of your own TV advert or movie trailer in this exciting active workshop and see yourself on screen.

This package is available to groups for up to 9 children at a flat rate of £45 and £5 per child thereafter.

Perfect for those who want to explore the museum with a little extra added to their day. With seven action packed floors to explore, and picnic spaces so you can bring your own lunch, create your own special celebration.

If you want to organise a birthday party for young people, and don't feel that these workshops are suited to their age group, please contact our Events Department who will help you plan a celebration to remember.
