Halas & Batchelor Cartoons – An Animated History, a new richly illustrated book is a part-history, part-tribute and part-critical analysis of the Halas and Batchelor Cartoon studio, Britain's leading and most influential animation company for over fifty years between 1940 – 1995. To celebrate its UK launch, the authors Vivien Halas and Professor Paul Wells will talk about the impact of this remarkable company, followed by a special screening of their best work.
This event will be followed by a book signing and drinks reception in the Museum foyer at 6.30pm.
