Late Night Opening - Thur 13 Nov

Join us as we present our first BAF late night opening and explore the world of animation and gaming on a grand scale. Take part in our first animator’s marketplace allowing you the opportunity to network with a multitude of animators, then round off the evening with a spot of big screen gaming in Pictureville.

What better way to round off the day than a spot of big screen gaming in what Sir David Puttnam describes as ‘the best cinema in Britain’? Grab a drink and drop in to Pictureville Cinema to play the latest games on the big screen in glorious high-definition and spectacular surround sound. From 21:30 onwards join gaming fans for a spectacular evening of extraordinary graphic thrills and animation exemplified on a grand scale as we present our first big screen gaming event.

The Animators’ marketplace will take place throughout the evening and is a unique networking opportunity for animators and animation enthusiasts alike. Come along and show a selection of your work to a captive and well connected audience. With TV/DVD players provided this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your talents to a wide range of interested parties.

TV Heaven will also be open throughout the evening showcasing a selection of classic animation including The Snowman, in celebration of John Coates lifetime achievement award. Come along and take your pick from a wide selection and enjoy the many guises of british animation.
