Opening Night film – Mary and Max

We are delighted to confirm our Opening Night film – Mary and Max. Created by the Australian, Oscar-winning team behind Harvie Crumpet, this clayography is one of the finest animated features you will see this year! Director Adam Elliot’s debut feature tells the tale of Mary – a lonely 8 year-old living in the suburbs of Melbourne and her pen-pal; Max - a severely obese, 44 year-old, Jewish man who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome living in New York.

With an excellent voice cast including Toni Collette, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Barry Humphries, Mary and Max will have you laughing and crying in abundance. Not to be missed!
