The Blue Peter studio has changed in appearance over the years but the idea behind it has remained the same. The large, empty studio provides an arena where anything can happen, from record breaking conga lines and gymnastic displays, to monster truck driving and Christmas performances by the Chalk Farm Salvation Army band.
