Don McCullin: In Conversation

To coincide with the opening of our exhibition, Don McCullin: In England, renowned photographer Don McCullin will be speaking at the National Media Museum. In conversation with curator of the exhibition, Colin Harding, Don will talk about his extraordinary career in photography spanning over fifty years. Following the interview, there will be a question and answer session and a book signing.

Curator-led tours of Don McCullin: In England

This exhibition presents Don McCullin’s personal vision of England in photographs taken over a 50-year career. These special group tours of the exhibition are led by Colin Harding, Curator of Photographic Technology. These are bookable in advance for groups of 10-20 people and are free. An exhibition guided tour in Gallery Two, led by museum staff. Enjoy an informal introductory tour of the exhibitions, exploring the themes and the variety of work on display. Reminiscence session: Don McCullin

Twice a month we use the Museum’s collections, exhibitions, film festivals and archive of television programmes as the stimulus for sharing memories. New people are always welcome to join our informal discussion group. In this session, we will be responding to Don McCullin: In England, featuring photographs of England taken by McCullin over his fifty year career. These events are free, however places are limited so please book in advance.

Don McCullin recently chose a selection of classic early images from the National Photographic Collection held here at the National Media Museum. The digital version of this selection will be launched as an online exhibition on the FLICKR website. More details
