Museum Curators Greg Hobson and Brain Liddy will be your hosts for this event, which will include a guided tour of the galleries exploring the work of Sarah Jones and images in the Extra! Extra! Extra! An Illustrated talk

Over 400 images were considered for inclusion in the exhibition, ‘Extra! Extra! Tales from the Daily Herald Picture Library’. Join exhibition curator Brian Liddy for a behind the scenes look at some of the images from the Daily Herald photograph collection that didn’t make it into the final selection. Press Reels: The Newspaper Journalist on Film
This short course will look at newspaper journalists in Hollywood and British film over the decades, from The Day the Earth Caught Fire to Zodiac. No previous experience or qualifications are required. more information.

Ask at Box Office for location Come and celebrate the Campaign for Drawing’s ‘Big Draw’ event with us. Experiment with pencils and pastels in this drawing workshop for family groups. Inspiration will be taken from Extra! Extra! Tales from the Daily Herald Picture Library in Gallery Two.
