Ways of Looking - Events

Ways of Looking is a new event for photography and new media happening all over Leeds and Bradford. The official launch will take place on the weekend of Friday 12 September in Bradford and Saturday 13 September in Leeds. Everyone is welcome to attend these events, explore the cities, take in an exhibition, meet artists or sit back and enjoy a film.

Composure: Lumen HD Short Film Commissions

Café Artistique with Gerry Fialka, Pixelvision: Electronic Folk Art

PXL THIS film festival in California was established in 1991 by Gerry Fialke to celebrate the Fisher-Price PXL 2000 video camera. Although originally designed as a toy, in the hands of visionary video-makers, it has become an essential tool of cutting-edge creativity. Gerry Fialke will introduce two selections of highlights from recent programmes, followed by an informal ‘Café Artistique’ discussion. Organised by Axis and Lumen in association with Impressions Gallery.

My Life Dreams by Annelies Strba
