Who runs the Woolpack?... In which city is Hollyoaks set?...Think you know the answer? Join us and test your knowledge of British soaps in this fun family quiz. This event is free but places are limited, booking essential. FREE
The Big Family Soap Trail
Monday 15 February onwards
Explore the dramatic world of soap opera by following the new Big Family Soap Trail in Experience TV. Vision mix a scene from Emmerdale and transport yourself to Coronation Street in the virtual studio. FREE
Live Interpretation
Tuesday 16 – Thursday 18 February
Come along and help the Museum production team produce a scene from EastEnders. Watch and find out how television programmes are made in this fun informative soap session. You may be able to help out by being a floormanager, a camera person or even an extra! FREE

Join Joe Hepworth, script reader for the UK Film Council for a fun filled session of creative storytelling. Discover how the professionals create stories for TV, and work together to create your very own soap storyline. £3
Fun with Photography
Wednesday 17 February, 10.30am – 12.30pm
Come and experiment with photography. Using the Museum’s cameras you will learn how to take interesting photos and then use the software to change or improve them. In partnership with The Open University. £3
Lights, Camera, Action!
Thursday 18 February, 10.30am – 3pm
Join industry professional John McCormack and film your own mini-soap episode on location in the Experience TV gallery using original scripts from current British soaps. £3
Stop-Motion Animation Workshop

Create your own animation characters and short animation films
