Fantastic Films Weekend 2006, 16-18 June

National Museum of Photography, Film & Television presents...

Fantastic Films Weekend 2006, 16 - 18 June.

Feel the fear...

The Fantastic Films Weekend has been around for only five years, but it's already made an impact among the fantasy film cognoscenti both at home and abroad.

See every show for £35 with a weekend pass

This year we have gone back to our roots (or maybe it only seems that way) by re-inviting two of our original guests from 2002 – Robin (The Wicker Man) Hardy and Julian (Darklands) Richards. Joining them will be Robert Fuest, the innovative visionary who brought Dr Anton Phibes to our movie screens.

As FFW's influence continues to spread we have been able to unearth and take possession of some extremely rare prints of old favourites like Horror Express and The House That Dripped Blood. In fact, the NMPFT is fast becoming an archive of such treasures; we hope to present more fiendish delights like these in the years to come.

Once again FFW's dark spectrum runs from silent classics such as Nosferatu to previews of supernatural chillers like Half Light. Our shorts package showcases new work by a range on domestic and international filmmakers. Our giant IMAX screen will boast comic strip action courtesy of Batman Begins and V for Vendetta. In TV Heaven we present an array of little gems from the vaults.

And so we bid you a warm welcome. Join us, and allow your waking dreams to become the stuff of nightmares.
