UPDATE - Fantastic Films Weekend 2011

The 10th Fantastic Films Weekend will take place from Friday 10 - Sunday 12 June 2011.

FFW 2011 is now open for submissions. Filmmakers with new films that fit the themes of the festival are encouraged to submit their work for consideration. FFW accepts live action, animation and documentary films in both short and feature-length formats. Screeners (preferably on PAL format DVD) should be sent to:

Submissions must be accompanied by a full press pack including contact details, an English language synopsis, cast/crew credits, images and a portrait of the director.

The National Media Museum blog (tag: fantastic films weekend) includes video clips of some past events as well as a run-down of film highlights. If you’ve previously attended FFW or want information on future plans, tweet using the hashtag #FFWfest.

Video clips from previous festivals can also be viewed on the National Media Museum YouTube channel, and we have audio podcasts which you can download and listen to at your leisure.
