Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - IMAX
Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippopotamus are back and there BIGGER and BETTER in the only IMAX cinema in Yorkshire, at the National Media Museum, Bradford. With a screen as tall as four double-decker buses IMAX s the ultimate cinema experience. DreamWorks Presents Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, a Paramount Pictures release featuring the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen, Bernie Mac, Sherri Shepherd and Alec Baldwin. This Christmas the National Media Museum invites you to experience the Escape in IMAX with your favourite fun loving characters from Central Park Zoo, New York. In the highly anticipated sequel to Madagascar, Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, King Julien, Maurice, the penguins and the chimps find themselves marooned on the distant shores of Madagascar. In the face of this obstacle, the New Yorkers have hatched a plan so crazy it just might work. With military precision, the penguins have repaired an old crashed plane, sort of. Once aloft, this unlikely crew stays airborne just long enough to make it to the wildest place of all, the vast plains of Africa. It seems like a great place…but is it better than their Central Park home? Watch this exciting tale unfold in IMAX at the National Media Museum. “This movie was so much fun to make. We loved getting back together with all our friends from the first ‘Madagascar’ and adding a whole new batch of incredibly talented voice artists to bring our new characters to life” Says the film’s co-director Tom McGrath. “We know that the giant IMAX screen is the best way for audiences to get as close as possible to all their favourite characters” adds co-director Eric Darnell. Showing in IMAX from Friday 5 December with paid previews on Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 November.
