Home Movie Day 2009

Musuem event

Saturday 17 October 2009, 10am to 5pm

Do you have family movies you've not seen for years and don’t know what to do with? Want to make home movies but don't know where to start?

Bring your films to the National Media Museum for this worldwide celebration of amateur filmmaking. They'll be examined by experts from the Yorkshire Film Archive and, if possible, screened for you. You'll also get advice on preserving these important records of social history, and there are FREE events through the day to help you relive old memories – and learn how to capture new ones.

Check in at the Home Movie Day desk from 10am in the Museum foyer to find out what’s happening and for directions during the day.
