An Additive Mix by Liz West

This amazing installation gave visitors the chance to explore the incredible phenomenon of white light. It was created from a spectrum of different colours and featured a purpose-built room, containing over 250 coloured fluorescent lights, and lined with ‘infinity’ mirrors. The result: individual hues that, together, created an intense white glow in a seemingly endless space.

Noise Orchestra: Play the Collections

Can you create sound with light? Our artists, Vicky Clarke and David Birchall, did just that. Inspired by the shapes and patterns in our collection, they created a brilliant new light and sound show, making unique sounds just by shining light through paper and plastic stencils.
